Production halls

Our production halls are based on a standardised modular system. The steel structure and sheathing of the hall are detachable, meaning that a prefabricated halls can easily be modified to extend or shorten it by assembling or disassembling the supporting frames and part of the sheathing. With our prefabricated halls these alterations can be made while still making full use of the building. The fire rating of our prefabricated halls complies with the requirements of the project documentation.

Production halls - specifications

The structure of a production hall consists of lightweight lattice frames made from S 235 (Fe360) steel to form a gabled roof; these frames rest on stable supports spaced 4-6m apart. The frames are connected by braces running down the required length of the hall. The frame supports are anchored in concrete or ferro-concrete bases, the size of which, or of the braces, is determined by a static computation based on the load conditions, the load-bearing capacity of the ground, etc.

All of the steel parts of the production hall are coated with the UNI-COAT STEEL AR 30-00 system in RAL 7012 colour. The colour of the structure can be changed if the customer wishes. We can also cater to conditions requiring a higher fire rating, as we have been certified for the application of fireproof finishes.

The walls and roof cladding of the hall consist of corrugated sheeting (Picture 1), or sandwich panels with an insulation core of PUR foam or solid mineral wool (Picture 2), or stacked cladding – insulation with bonded fabric and corrugated sheeting (Picture 3).
